Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) work alongside teachers, providing valuable support for teaching and learning activities. HLTAs work right across the curriculum, acting as specialist assistants for specific subjects or departments, or helping to plan lessons and develop support materials.
As an assessment centre, Carnegie Leaders in Learning provide rigorous, high quality external assessment and national moderation of candidates against the HLTA standards.
If you work in a support staff role in a school and you aspire to HLTA status then you can be assessed for Higher Level Teacher Assistant status through Carnegie Leaders in Learning which is part of the HLTA National Assessment Partnership.
