SCITT 2017–18 (from September 2017)
As a Lead School for Leeds SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) St. Mary’s offers training across all subjects and in 2017/18 is extremely proud to be the lead School for Mathematics and English.
In partnership with Leeds Trinity University, this is an opportunity to train alongside experienced, committed and passionate subject specialists in a training scheme overseen by an outstanding Academy Trust. St. Mary's offers graduate teacher training via a school based training route with the possibility of a job offer on successful completion of the course.
To assist you during your initial teacher training year you may be entitled to a bursary of up to £25,000 - depending on subject specialism and your degree. Course fees will be £9,250 and include 60 credits of Leeds Trinity University Master’s Degree.
Training commences in September 2017; competition for places is expected to be high so early applications are encouraged.
